Kohli at No. 3 on orange cap table, Bhuvneshwar at No. 1 on purple cap table

There is always movement on the IPL 2026 orange and purple cap tables and Wednesday was no different

In doing so, he moved up to No. 3 on the list of highest run-getters this season. Kohli's tally of 484 from 12 innings at a strike rate of 165.75 is just behind B Sai Sudharsan (501). Heinrich Klaasen (508).

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the Purple Cap winner in 2016. 2017, has pulled away from Kagiso Rabada, Purple Cap winner from 2020. With 1 for 34 against KKR, Bhuvneshwar now has one more wicket than Rabada (21)
