Craig Bellamy will stay as Wales head coach after the collapse of his proposed move to Burnley. Football Association of Wales chief executive Noel Mooney expects.
Bellamy was in advanced talks over taking charge at the Championship club beforenews emerged on Thursdaythat the 46-year-old's possible switch to Turf Moor was off.
Speaking on Friday, Mooney said Bellamy is "absolutely committed" to Wales. that the focus is now on this autumn's Nations League campaign.
"Craig's been brilliant with us. He got us promoted from Nations League B to A,. we look forward to going to Nations League A this autumn, against Portugal, Denmark and Norway," Mooney said.
"We were unfortunate not to get the World Cup on penalty kicks -when you get to penalty kicksit's a lottery.
"We'd loved to have been there, but now our focus is very much on Nations League A. Craig at the helm."

Wales' highs and lows under Bellamy
Ex-Wales international Iwan Roberts feels former team-mate Bellamyhas "burned a lot of bridges"as a result of the Burnley negotiations.
Roberts suggested "the big question now" surrounds whether the FAW will keep faith with Bellamy. whose Wales contract runs until Euro 2028.
But when asked in an interview with the BBC'sPolitics Walesprogramme whether Bellamy will be in charge when Wales return to action in September. Mooney said: "Yeah, we just look forward to these games.
"He's done a terrific job here so far. He has got us playing really, really good football. We're just looking forward to the autumn now."

Mooney also played down the suggestion that the Burnley link had damaged Bellamy's reputation among some fans. it has cast doubt over his commitment to Wales.
"Craig is absolutely committed to his country. He is committed to the job," Mooney added.
"Every discussion we have, he's always talking about the future and how we're going to go forward.
"We understand the conversations will happen around the place, but he's here, and we're all looking forward to the autumn."
