Ngumoha left Chelsea to join Liverpool in 2024
Bayern Munich are interested in signingLiverpool's 17-year-old winger Rio Ngumoha.
The German side made enquries about a potential move for the teenager,. sources have indicated that no face-to-face discussions have taken place.
Ngumoha. currently at a preparation camp in Florida as a supplementary member of the England squad, is believed to be aware of the interest from Germany, though no final agreement over personal terms has been struck.
Liverpoolhave a major interest in RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande. who, if signed, could provide Ngumoha with a further obstacle to playing regularly next season.
With that in mind. it remains to be seen whether a deal is possible despiteLiverpool's stance that he isn't for sale.
Ngumoha scored two goals, including a late winner in a 3-2 victory atNewcastle Unitedon his Premier League debut in August,. registered one assist in the 2025-26 campaign.
He made his debut under the Reds' former manager Arne Slot. who was sacked last week, in a 4-0 win over Accrington in the FA Cup in January 2025.
He was aged 16 years. 135 days old at the time and became the youngest player to start a match forLiverpool.
Ngumoha, who has played through the England age groups, leftChelsea's academy in September 2024 to join the Reds. signed his first professional contract with them a year later.
In February 2026,a tribunal ruledthatLiverpoolhad to pay at least £2.8m toChelseafor the winger.
The fee could rise through add-ons if certain conditions are met. the Blues will also be owed 20% of the profit ifLiverpoolsell Ngumoha.
